This gelding embodies everything that a horse should be & then some. Peso is an absolute unit! Big hip, strong back, some of the thickest bone I’ve seen on a horse – he has a size 3 foot, and comes equipped with a long mane + tail to boot. I love Peso! This 2009 AQHA gelding is cherry red and handmade! You couldn’t ask for a more conformationally correct, built to last, good minded horse. This guy has been through a recent thorough vet check (with x-rays) and is 100% SOUND!!!! Records avail. upon request. They simply don’t make them like him anymore. Owning Peso has been a blast and the adventures we have been on have made memories that’ll last a lifetime. Anything you need to do horseback, he will be your go-to! Seriously, I can’t tell you how much more enjoyable it is to ride a horse that has the “Ready to do whatever you ask next” mentality, it makes the ride or task at hand so much more enjoyable! Peso is the ideal ranch horse, fun to sort on and ROCK SOLID to rope cattle on outside. Willingly side passes to open/close a gate & is steady through any type of terrain. Has a good walk outside on the trails, crosses water, steps right off large embankments, over logs, and through thick brush without questioning you. He isn’t bothered by traffic or wildlife that you may encounter while you’re out and about, he is very cultured and trusting in any environment! I have actually strung Peso along on a fun little trip to the Fort Worth Stockyards where I got to cross off a bucket list item! I rode him into one of the saloons in historic Mule Alley! Peso did not hesitate when I asked him to do such a spontaneous task, he rode right in and was attune to every thing I asked. This rare find is not only a great asset to have fun or do a job on but he’s extremely well broke in the arena as well. Peso is smooth to ride and travels beautifully! He stays right between the bridle reins, effortlessly picks up his leads in both directions, has fun lead departures and a nice stop! Peso has so much to offer whether you want a seasoned ranch horse, something to cruise down the trail, or a refined arena ride to have fun on and take to shows on the weekends. Great for the farrier, easy to catch, gets along super with other horses (low man on the totem pole in a herd), loads and hauls good, stands tied like a statue and will happily wait on you all day long.
