Rose

Rose is an 8 year old, 14 hand gaited Molly mule. Rose has a very nice ground covering, ear flopping walk when she gets in gear and headed down the road or trail. Rose is experienced on the trails. She crosses natural obstacles with ease. Goes through and across water crossings without worry. She is sure footed on narrow and technical trails. She steps over logs and goes through ditches. Rose rides out alone or with a group. She can keep up with other gaited animals or ride slower with quarter type. She is a mountain goat type, if you point her nose, you better be ready to go! She is a forward mule with a lot of heart to ride all day. Rose stands nicely to saddle. She ties and clips. Has nice stall manners. Loads and unloads easily. Rose rides off nicely if she has had time off, but like anyone excels when ridden in a regular riding program. She has been on quite a few big, organized rides. We have ridden her through our herd of cows and checking fences with no issues. Rose is the type of mule that you need to earn her trust and respect. It’s easy to get, but experienced mule owners understand her type. She will do best in a home with 1 or 2 riders, not so much for a guest or “dude” type of mule. With that being said, she will give her person 110% every ride and only gets better the more she knows and understands her person.
