If you’re looking for a show stopper, look no further! Kayla is a 5 year old registered Friesian Sporthorse. She is a knockout cross between a Friesian and a Percheron. Kayla stands 16.3 and has conformation that is as beautiful as her gray color. She rides well in the arena and outside on the trails. Kayla is traffic safe, and is used to being around other large and small livestock as well as pets and children! She will ride through an open field, down the trails, across water, through all obstacles, and down busy highways. Kayla will one-hand neck rein or plow rein, she is very soft in the bridle and leg cues. She knows how to side pass, pivot, lope correct circles picking up her leads, open and close gates, can be mounted from a mounting block or fence, and so much more! Kayla is easy to catch and does well in a stall or pasture setting, plus gets along well with other horses. She is quiet, gentle to be around, and so easy to handle. She easily picks up all of her feet, and is good for the farrier. Kayla could go so many directions, and has an excellent foundation to take her there. Whether you want to ride western, english, bareback, or simply trail ride, she is a great fit! Along with all of her experience in western riding, Kayla has been started in dressage and jumping. She is doing great with lead departures and laterals. Kayla moves beautifully, and definitely has a natural talent. She is not for a beginner, but is ready to go any direction in her training. Kayla is a very well rounded mare that will make someone a very high caliber horse! Even with time off, in the pasture or a stall, she rides off great. This outstanding mare has a solid foundation and stays honest whether she is being handled under saddle or on the ground. Kayla is current on Coggins, and also has a current PPE on file.
