Lkthawedthepacific aka “Hydra” is a 14.3H 2022’ AQHA sorrel mare. She is one NICE prospect with all the big names you love to see on set of papers. Hydra spend 60 days with a rein-cow horse trainer to get her start in the fall, and since she’s been on our personal string as a prospect. Both her sire and dam are money earners in the roping pen AND in the barrel pen. She is naturally talented and will go on to make a winner. Hydra has grit and will take anything you throw at her. She rides around with a good start, neck reins and is yielding off leg, stops good and does all the things you need a good 3 yr old prospect to do. She’s been rode outside, seen cattle and ready to finish with your touch! Only reason we’re offering her is because we simply don’t have time for her. She’s too nice of a prospect to not be someone’s main priority! Hydra is a sweet mare, she doesn’t have the typical red mare attitude and really wants to impress. She would excel in the roping pen, barrel pen, cutting pen, sorting pen or as a working ranch horse easily. She is mild tempered and would also make a fancy trail horse with just a little time. She’s gentle and easy to be around. She loads, leads, bathes and ties good. Hydra is absolutely gorgeous, with a flaxen mane, true Rabicano sorrel coat and she is build like a brick house. She will likely mature around 15H+ and she is build STOUT. Whoever ends up with the filly will have an extremely willing, eager, very well bred prospect to take in any direction!
