Cortez is an 8 year old grade gelding standing 14.1hh. This kind gelding has been used all over the rough country of Arizona by riders of all ages. Whether you’re an experienced cowboy or a handy little kiddo learning the ropes Cortez will be eager to work and be absolutely gentle every step of the way. There hasn’t been a single thing that phases this guy and he’s been used for every job around ranch except the dishes! Drug calves to the fire, doctored, loaded trucks, sorted, caught and led cattle, and rode countless miles of fence. You name it and he’s done it! Cortez will be safe and surefooted no matter what kind of country you’re in. Steep slippery slopes, rough rocky terrain, vast flowing rivers, thick pokey brush, fallen logs. Cortez will bulldoze right through it all! Cortez isn’t just a workhorse, he’s a blast in the arena as well! He will walk, trot, and lope both ways with ease as well as neck rein. Cortez is easy to catch and good to groom, saddle, bridle, bathe, shoe, and load. Will come with a clean coggins and health! Transport can easily be arranged anywhere in the US!!
