Aries

Aries is a 4-year-old Clyde cross gelding standing 16.2h tall and weighing roughly 1500 pounds. He has a nice walk, trot, canter, backs, yields his hindquarters, stops off your seat, and side passes. We have used Aries for various events on the farm, such as trail rides, lessons, driving, and our veterans programs; he does it all. Aries has many miles out on the trail and in the arena. He will lope a nice circle in the arena and then ride alone or with a group and cross water, logs, and ditches with no problem. Aries is not only great at riding, but he also drives! He is traffic-safe and comfortable around different types of machinery. Aries’s ability to adapt to various situations and his calm demeanor make him a trusted partner no matter what you want to do. His steady nature and willingness to learn new skills make him a reliable partner for any endeavor. Aries’s versatility and easy-going personality make him a favorite in the barn. We have used Aries as a pony horse for young children on trail rides; even when they feel anxious, he remains composed. Aries loads and unloads with ease and has been hauled to different locations. He behaves like a seasoned horse when stepping off the trailer. Aries is a reliable and well-rounded horse that everyone can enjoy. He stands for the farrier, vet, and clipping.
