Cochise

Cochise is a handsome 11 year old gaited walkaloosa gelding that’s stands 14.1 hands tall ( technically 14.1 and a 1/2 inch). Cochise has been a lesson horse the last few years helping people of all ages learn to ride gaited trail horses and the lately we have been lucky enough to get to enjoy him ourself, my daughter (😎 has taken Cochise on several riding trips and loves every minute, as you’ll see in the video Cochise loves people and I find him very trustworthy on the ground, you’ll know what I mean when you see my kids climbing all over him. Aside from that he is a stellar trail mount, he isn’t spooky in anyway and will ride anywhere in the group as well as out alone, he has a very smooth gait and a nice rocking chair canter. Everyone knows that a naturally gaited Appaloosa is like finding hens teeth but I feel to find one with such a good personality makes him even more rare than he already is. He loads in the trailer easily and stands in the crossties for grooming. In fact, he loves to stand in the crossties with the fan blowing on him while the kids pamper him. Cochise may not be the biggest horse out on the trail, but he can definitely keep up with him no issue.
