“Spring Lenas Cat” is a gorgeous 2012 sorrel mare that stands 14.2. She is an amazing ranch, sorting, and penning horse. She has the breeding, conformation, disposition, and athleticism to really take you to the winners circle and then later stamp all her wonderful qualities on her foals as a producer. She is an own daughter of Sophisticated Catt (LTE: $192,507, 3 time AQHA World Champion). High Brow Cat, High Brow Hickory, Smart Little Lena, and Doc O’Lena are just a few of the other outstanding horses in her pedigree. “Sofie” has had thousands of dollars spent on her training, and has been a standout in the Team Penning and Sorting arenas. She can easily take you to the top and is highly competitive. She is a beautiful mover and would do very well in the popular ranch horse classes competing in the all around events. She has been ridden and shown by Amateurs and older youth riders. She is very quick, catty, and loves working cattle. You are not limited to just the show arena with this great mare. She will work cattle in the pastures and on the ranch. She is also a fantastic trail horse and we really have enjoyed taking breaks from our busy show schedules to enjoy some time out on the trails. Water, logs, steep and rough terrain are no problems for her. She leads and follows along great and does well with both large groups and out by herself. Sofie has great ground manners and is joy to have in the barn. She has a great disposition and has a very people friendly personality. She loads and hauls great, and well seasoned going to new places as we are normally at a show or event 3 times a month. Sophie has definitely already proven herself in the show ring and is ready to further her career with her new rider, however don’t think she is one for just the arena, as this versatile mare is a gritty ranch horse and solid trail horse.
