Jimmy is a 4-year-old Gypsy cross pony standing 13.2 hands tall, and he is truly the total package. He is absolutely stunning with his long, flowing mane and tail, and a kind, gentle expression that draws attention everywhere he goes. Jimmy is 100% sound and has that in-your-pocket personality everyone loves — easy to catch, easy to be around, and a true barn favorite. The kids absolutely adore him, and he genuinely enjoys people. He is as versatile as they come. Jimmy has been trail ridden extensively, hauled on overnight camping trips, and spent two months checking and doctoring cattle. He’s been started in the breakaway, can hold one at the horn, and has experience with cattle sorting, pushing cattle, and brandings. Jimmy has been used as a lesson pony and has been ridden by riders of all ages and experience levels. He is safe, steady, and forgiving. He will: • Ride out alone or in a group • Go through timber, water, and cross creeks • Ride confidently along traffic • Go over small jumps • Ride double with ease • Stay broke even with time off On the ground, Jimmy is just as solid: • Stands for the farrier, grooming, and tacking • Loads and hauls great • Excellent ground manners • Can be kept in a stall or turned out with others We’ve done just about everything with Jimmy, and he continues to prove himself to be a dependable, all-around pony.
