Belle is a beautiful 12-year-old, 15.2-hand mare with the kind of kind, honest personality that makes her a pleasure to own. Under saddle, Belle is simple, & straightforward. She neck reins, moves willingly off leg pressure, and has all the buttons an experienced rider can appreciate while remaining uncomplicated enough for a novice to feel comfortable. She WTL nicely, picks up both leads with ease, has a big stop, and carries herself with a nice, collected reverse. She has also been around cattle and genuinely enjoys working a cow, giving her another fun job to do when it’s time to go to work. One of Belle’s greatest qualities is her steady, unbothered mind. She has absolutely no spook and takes everything in stride. She has carried flags, walked over tarps, and confidently navigated obstacle courses without hesitation. Out on the trail, she is just as dependable. She crosses water willingly, travels through thick brush, rocky terrain, and rough country with confidence, and goes wherever you point her without a second thought. She is happy to lead the group, content to follow at the back, and is equally trustworthy riding out alone. Belle is the type of horse you can confidently put a novice rider on and simply enjoy the ride, knowing she will take care of her person.
