Chewy is a 13-year-old Pintaloosa gelding standing 14.3 hands tall.

He is the definition of a true jack-of-all-trades, equally at home putting in a full day’s work on the ranch, hitting the trails, or showing off a few fun tricks. He has a comfortable medium-paced walk that covers ground nicely without ever feeling rushed, making him enjoyable for long rides and easy to sit all day. He’s been used extensively for checking fences, doctoring cattle, branding, opening and closing gates, and just about every other job that comes with ranch work. He is honest, willing, and always takes care of his rider. Out on the trail, Chewy is as reliable as they come. He has a smooth, easy stride that lets you relax and enjoy the ride while giving you complete confidence in the saddle. He’s exceptionally surefooted and is happy to head out alone, lead a group, ride quietly in the middle, or follow behind. Nothing seems to bother him, and he simply isn’t a spooky horse. He confidently crosses water, bridges, thick brush, fallen trees, and any other obstacle you point him toward without hesitation. In the arena, Chewy carries himself with a nice, headset at the walk, moves comfortably in both directions, has a nice stop, an easy reverse, and will spin both ways with ease.
