Meet MOONEY! Your Next Family Favorite! If you’re searching for that hard-to-find, safe, honest, and fun-sized gelding that the whole family can enjoy, look no further! This handsome 11-year-old, 14-hand gelding is the definition of a dependable partner with a kind heart and an easy-going personality. From the moment you meet him, you’ll appreciate his calm, willing attitude. He is gentle, patient, and incredibly good-natured, making him an excellent choice for kids, beginners, or anyone looking for a trustworthy trail companion. He’s the kind of horse that enjoys attention and is always happy to go to work. Whether you’re riding down the trail, exploring new places, or just taking a leisurely stroll around the farm, this gelding is confident and level-headed. He is traffic safe, not spooky, and takes new sights and sounds in stride without hesitation. He loves crossing water, mud, ditches, and rough terrain, and if you point him somewhere, he’ll go with confidence and a willing attitude. He is well-trained and a pleasure to handle both on the ground and under saddle. He loads and unloads with ease, ties quietly, stands patiently for the farrier, and has excellent ground manners. Under saddle, he will side pass to open and close gates, making him a handy partner on the trail or around the farm. His smooth, comfortable stride and manageable size make him an ideal mount for both children and adults who appreciate a smaller horse. He rides out alone with confidence or is just as happy riding in a group. Whether he’s leading the pack or following behind, he stays relaxed and dependable. This is the kind of horse you can saddle up after time off and enjoy without worry. His quiet demeanor, willing heart, and trustworthy nature make him a horse the entire family can enjoy for years to come.
