Cody is as royal and cool as any horse that you will see! He is a beautiful bay draftcross that stands a little over 16hh that will weigh around 1400lbs and he is a 5 years old. Cody has that eye appeal but the best part about him in deeper than the eye can see. Cody is everyone’s best friend as he loves attention and is very calm natured. He is out of the same breeding program as several other top draftcross geldings that we have had over the last 5 years and every one of them has the right mind with the calm nature that makes them great family horses. Cody has been through the natural horsemanship program and knows some tricks such as to lay down and set on him rump. Cody has been ridden by every member of our family all the way down to our 7 year old daughter. He has been ridden down the highways and he is traffic safe as well. Cody is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope and a good stop! He neckreins around and backs with ease. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Cody is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. In addition to riding, Cody has also been worked in farm machinery as well. Cody is a rare find that anyone is lucky to have!!!
