9-Year-Old Palomino Gelding • 14 Hands

The best horses leave a little piece of themselves with the people lucky enough to ride them. Chevy is one of those horses. This handsome golden palomino has already been part of the kind of memories that make horses so special. He has been used in 4-H, ridden by young riders, ridden in parades, worked on the ranch and spent plenty of time around cattle. He has handled the noise, crowds and activity that come along with parades and takes it all in stride. Through it all, Chevy has proven himself to be gentle, patient and easygoing. Chevy is the kind that can take care of a younger rider. He is a solid, enjoyable horse for anyone wanting something safe, dependable and broke. He has a quiet way about him and is forgiving of his rider, making him easy to get along with whether you’re simply out enjoying the day or putting him to work. In the arena, Chevy rides nicely with a comfortable walk, trot and lope. He picks up his leads, neck reins, stops, backs and has a nice handle without requiring you to be an expert to enjoy him. He has plenty of experience outside the arena as well. Chevy has been used for ranch work, gathering and working cattle, and is right at home heading down the trail. He will ride alone or with a group, lead or follow, and handles water, hills, brush, logs and different terrain with confidence. Chevy is accustomed to flags, tarps, obstacles, traffic and the everyday activity that comes with ranch life. He is easy to catch, good to groom and saddle, hauls well and is pleasant to have around. At 14 hands, he is a great size, and with four white socks against that golden palomino coat, he has plenty of looks to go along with his disposition. Chevy is more than a pretty palomino. He is the kind of horse that can become part of someone’s story—and hopefully make a whole lot more good memories along the way.
