A Badger Red Buck

Badger Red Buck is a 2017 model, 15hh, reg AQHA Golden Buckskin Gelding and he is beautiful, smart & athletic, we bought George as a weanling from a breeder we have had many good horses from. George was our first pick out of 20+ colts, he was a standout! A “One owner horse”, he shows the consistency in riding & handling in his confidence in us. George will be highly valued by a family who wants a responsive/ light to the aids ride, combined with the dependability of being a seasoned ranch working horse. He is happy to go slow & easy, but is responsive enough to move out freely if you ask. Curt appreciates his talent on cattle & born to work attitude; Anne enjoys his athletic ability & intelligence that make him fun to learn advanced training with; side-pass, half-pass, haunches in & a best partner in starting colts in the round pen. He is a blast to ride! He learns what you are doing & works to do his part. Alice (6 yrs) loves to ride him because he is soft, responsive & doesn’t get lazy. She can get on him by herself, ride him bareback, open & close gates, side-pass, teeter-totter, planks, bridge, work cows all day in any kind of brush & terrain. We can send Alice out on her pony & she can catch George out at pasture (no grain) & bring him back to the barn. When Anne goes out she just rides him back in a halter, bareback. Stays broke with time off (Alice can get on him without adult warm-up), perfect ground manners, loads himself in the trailer & is a very personable horse, particularly asking for attention from his people. George is a VERY easy keeper, he has never coliced, or had any soundness issue, we have a full set of current X-rays available.
