ADBT Berts Ginger

DBT Berts Ginger, better known as Josie, is a stunning 2018 Reg AQHA mare who stands 15 hands. If able to use only one word to describe her, it would have to be “confident”. We typically talk about Josie as the girl who “owns the room” because she is so comfortable in her own skin. Josie has been brave and bold since we got her 18 months ago. She will happily work in the arena but truly shines brightest outside, in the woods, or in hunt country. Josie knows her leads and easily works off her rider’s legs laterally. She has ponied other horses and is happy to go out alone or as part of a group. She is a forward mover with 3 ground covering gaits. Josie has hunted 2nd field during her first cubbing season where she was content to ride forward, middle, or back of the field. She will ride off from the group and will walk home on the buckle. She has popped over several natural jumps and recently showed us her talents in the field over more fences including banks, verticals, and coops. Hounds, creeks, bridges, tricky footing, machinery, nor traffic are of concern to JoJo. The word “no” simply isn’t in her vocabulary…she is always ready to go and do! She does not require prep nor daily schooling. She is comfortable turned out or stalled, where she is neat as a pin! JoJo is an excellent pasture mate and is currently turned out in a mixed herd. This girl is consistent and fun! We would love to see her continue her career as hunt horse or in another job where she experiences new adventures. Josie is current on vaccinations, dewormer, farrier, and dental. She has no vices. Located in Pomaria, SC. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense.
