Meet CHICS LITTLE GUY aka Alazan a 15.1 hand 2016 Model Sorrel Gelding. If you’re looking for the definition of a all-around family horse he is your guy. He has been around our program since he was a two year colt. He was first started in our program as a working cow horse. Doing everyday aspects on a ranch in Northern Arizona. Then as a four year old he was started as a rope horse and shown in some ranch trail courses and ranch sorting. From day one he was a true gentlemen and never offered to do anything foolish. He is a true love bug and the first to meet you out in the pasture. He is a dream to take to the cow sortings or even if you’re wanting to learn how to cow sort he is automatic! (He has more woah then go) He excels extremely well in anything that’s out infront of him. He’s safe in busy California street traffic and also out on the trails. He is awesome to team rope steers on in the arena. He also has a super fancy rocking horse type slow lope and picks up both of his leads automatically. You can leave him to sit and he’s going to be the same horse when you pull him out of his stall. He is great to shoe doesn’t pull away from farrier and stands like a gentleman should. He has cowhorse background so he spins both ways and will do simple lead changes and rides with a super loose rein and even rides bridleless! He’s started on the barrel pattern and loping a pretty pattern! He requires zero maintenance and 100% sound with lameness exam to show!
