ALIBI — YOUR NEW ALIBI FOR MISSING EVERYTHING ELSE
Need an excuse for why you didn’t answer your phone, finish the chores, or make it home before dark? Meet Alibi—he just might be the best excuse you’ve ever had. Alibi is an 8-year-old, 14.3-hand grulla gelding, and classy is the best way to describe him. From his striking color and eye-catching good looks to the way he carries himself under saddle, he’s the kind that gets noticed everywhere he goes. Looks alone don’t make a great horse, though. Alibi is gentle, broke, versatile, and has the experience to back it up. He’s the kind of horse that most any level of rider can climb on and enjoy. Bridges, water, obstacles, flags, and tarps are all part of his everyday routine, and he handles each one with a quiet, willing attitude. Out on the trail, Alibi is happy wherever you point him. He’s confidently traveled rough country, narrow trails, rocks, brush, creek crossings, and scenic state parks. Whether you’re heading out for an afternoon ride or spending the whole day in the saddle, he’s a dependable partner that’s enjoyable every step of the way. He’s no stranger to a day’s work, either. Alibi has been used around the ranch and has roping experience, making him just as comfortable gathering cattle as he is enjoying a relaxing trail ride. Whether your plans include ranch work, heading to the roping pen, or simply exploring the countryside, he’s ready to go. Traffic and commotion don’t faze him. He’s been exposed to busy roads, cars, trucks, and the everyday sights and sounds that come with riding outside the arena. Just as importantly, Alibi is a complete gentleman on the ground. He stands quietly to be groomed and tacked, clips, bathes, ties patiently, loads and hauls with ease, and has the kind of manners that make owning him a pleasure. No fuss—just a kind, respectful horse that’s easy to enjoy every day. In the arena, Alibi is every bit as enjoyable as he is outside. He neck reins, rides on a loose rein, picks up both leads, lopes nice circles, has a good stop, backs with ease, and is responsive without being overly sensitive. He’s the kind of horse that’s simply fun to ride. If you’ve been looking for one horse that can handle ranch work, roping, obstacle courses, traffic, scenic trail rides, and state parks—and still look good doing it—Alibi is ready to be your next excuse for disappearing for a few hours. Located at Longhorn Ranch in Paicines, California. Come meet Alibi in person or schedule a FaceTime visit if you can’t make the trip. Transportation is available nationwide with reputable haulers.
