Alvin is a 8 year old bay gelding standing 15.2 hds tall . He’s got plenty of chrome to get you noticed whenever you take him . Alvin has had a ton professional training and is a finished western pleasure horse . He’s got a smooth rocky chair lope to him and an even smoother slow jog , he is one you won’t be sore when you get done riding him . Alvin has dabbled in a little bit of everything from the show pen to the trails , we have even used him to bring up roping steers . Someone is going to get an extremely nice horse ! He is SAFE , gentle , YOUNG, talented, gorgeous and extremely well broke ! He has been shown at 4H shows in the western classes including trail , western pleasure and halter classes . He would make a great ranch rider for the ranch riding shows . Whether you’re looking for your next show horse or just wanting a good broke safe trail horse to enjoy this guy fits the bill for it all . Alvin is one we trust with absolutely everyone we have led 3 & 4 year old kids around on him and it was there first time being on a horse that’s how much we trust him ! We have gave several lessons on him from kids to adults and all levels of riders . He is very forgiving and always try’s to please . This guy has a heart the size of Texas ! Alvin also loves to go down the trails. He is confident , brave and will go wherever you point him to . He will cross the smallest creeks to the biggest rivers , goes over logs , tarps and, bridges . He is also traffic safe , he’s used to dogs and kids running around him . I trust this horse with absolutely everyone from the ground to his back , he has impeccable manners and is a total sweetheart! He loves to be groomed and will fall asleep every time . Alvin checks all the boxes when it comes to looking for your next equine partner ! He’s an absolute barn favorite and I know he will be become that at his new home also!
