Meet Anastasia! She is a true one-of-a-kind 3 year old Gypsy/QH cross mare that stands 14.3. Anastasia is the definition of FUN and to know her is to love her. Anastasia has never met a stranger, she’s the first to catch everyone’s attention. She truly has the best heart and will do whatever it takes to please her rider. We haven’t found anything this girl won’t do! Anastasia team sorts cattle, ropes, tracks the dummy, carries a flag, and has been used for various jobs around the farm (working gates, dragging logs and panels, moving cattle, checking pastures, etc.) No task is too big or small. Anastasia will meet you at the gate and absolutely loves being around people (especially kids). Although she is only 3, she acts like she’s 13. We purchased her directly from her breeder and she has been loved and handled correctly from day one. She rides the same, whether she gets rode once a month or every day. Her striking looks mixed with her kindness and willingness make her a favorite around our farm. We have hauled her on several overnight camping trips where she has been rode by many beginner and novice riders. Anastasia is flawless out on trails – nothing spooks her and she always makes her rider feel secure and confident. Anastasia rides English or Western and has started jumping over fences. We have also drove her single around the farm and down gravel roads. She is very easy to drive and harness. Anastasia is the cutest mover both English & Western, with very comfortable gait transitions. Anastasia will collect up, jog, long trot, pick up her leads, one hand neck rein, turn around, rollback, side-pass, back softly, and stop big off your seat – she responds well to leg aids and is very light in the bridle. She knows tricks and will lay down and sit on command. Anastasia is by a full Gypsy Stallion and out of an AQHA Mare that is High Brow Hickory bred. She has no bad habits and is an easy horse to be around no matter the situation. Anastasia loads and travels easily, stands for the farrier, picks up and holds her feet, bathes, and stands tied alone or next to others. She’s well acclimated to small kids, unmannered dogs, pesky cats, large farm machinery, busy traffic, loud equipment, tarps, balls, and more. We can’t sum up how special this mare is. Anastasia is up to date on trimming, worming, vaccinations, Coggins, and comes with a Pre-Purchase Exam already complete with a health certificate to travel.
