Apache

Apache is a 11 yr old, 15H EASY and SWEET as pie, bay gelding. He came off a using string on a ranch where the rancher’s teenage daughter primarily rode him. He’s been roped off of in the pasture and the girl also used him in play days! He does it all and is handy broke like a good one should be! Apache is GENTLE and extremely kind. He has ZERO, buck, bolt or rear and truly aims to please always. He isn’t spooky and would make anyone the perfect using horse, trail horse, playday or even lesson horse! He would also make an arena roping prospect as he has a fantastic stop. He neck reins with absolute ease, moves off leg great, opens and closes gates great, goes the speed you ask, switches gaits and stops great! Apache is FUN! This guy loves attention and he LOVES to go to work doing anything and everything! He has a definite “go getter” attitude and would be great for anyone not wanting a plug to kick along every stride. He’s the perfect all around horse everyone’s been looking for! He loads perfectly like a good ranch horse should, just point, he loads himself and will even stand quiet when not tied. He leads, bathes ties and does all the things great! Apache is an incredibly sweet gelding and someone is about to fall in love with him! His ONLY flaw is a cloudy right eye due to an old injury. Despite this, he is absolutely NOT watchy or weary on the ground OR in the saddle on that side. He’s been living with it for years and has adapted perfectly.
