Meet Aspen; she’s going to check a lot of boxes off some lucky person’s wish list! Are you looking for a stout draft cross in a smaller package? Well here she is!!! 
Aspen is a gorgeous, black, 12 year old, Percheron Morgan cross. Aspen is the horse that everyone wants but no one can find! She is as stout, quiet, and friendly as they come. She is approximately 15.3hh and has all the shape in the world. Aspen is the type of girl that wants to please and loves a good trail ride! She will walk through rocks, water, tunnels, bridges, and brush. She’s not one to react to cracking brush, traffic, wildlife, bikes, etc. She enjoys a nice walk on a long rein and will easily pack a beginner along the trails and back roads. Aspen also has a jog as smooth as any quarter horse and will lope when asked. She has good breaks, rides in a snaffle, and will ride english or western. I can’t stress enough how comfy and smooth she is! Aspen is easy going and is willing to give anything a try. Aspen has also been used to produce a few draft cross babies and she’s an exceptional momma. We have used her for most aspects of farm work from roping, to herding, to gathering and sorting! She’s a great mount for a days work. We have ridden her in Michigan’s beautiful hunt country and she shows lots of promise as a fox hunter. This mare has also been started over fences. Overall, she’s a laid back gal who enjoys taking her time and would be a fantastic addition to most pastures! Did I mention she’s barefoot, lives outside 24/7, AND plays well with others??
