Aspen

Aspen is a 6 year old blue roan Percheron, Quarter Horse cross mare. Standing a stout 16.3 hands tall, weighing around 1,300 pounds. Aspen was a therapy horse before she came to us. After we recieved her, she has been predominantly trail ridden by teenage girls. She is a load and go type horse. She does not take consistent work. She has great ground manners, loves a bath and does not hesitate over much of anything. She is good out in the pasture with other mares, geldings and babies. She doesn’t mind arena work, and loves the trails. Aspen will go in the deepest water and cross logs like a champion! She will go up and down any hill that is put in front of her. She will ride with a big group or alone. Aspen has a nice trot and lope. She can be ridden double, english, western and bareback. You can ride her with or without a bit. She has been ridden on the roads and through town. She has been around other livestock, cows, dogs, goats ect. She is no stranger to a hard days work.
