Augustus

Augustus aka Gus is a 14.3 hand, 12 year old, palomino gelding that’s broke, dependable, and practical. He’s the kind you can saddle up and get right to work on without a fuss. Simple to ride, correct in his way of going, and steady-minded, he fits both ranch and trail life with ease. On the trail he carries a good forward walk, covers country without dragging, and goes wherever you point him. He’ll cross water, logs, bridges, and brush without hesitation, and he doesn’t blink at flags, tarps, dogs, wildlife, or highway traffic. Whether you’re riding through the hills, heading down the road, or working through a set of obstacles, Gus stays straight, quiet, and reliable. He’s easy to haul and settles well in new places. Pasture or stall makes no difference to him — he’s content either way. He tacks up without a fight, stands tied all day, and is good for the farrier and vet.
