AUTUMN RAIN

AUTUMN RAIN

8-Year-Old | 15 Hand | Dapple Palomino Mare

She looks like she belongs in a painting, but Autumn Rain was made to be ridden. Autumn Rain is a striking dapple palomino mare, covered from one end to the other in beautiful dapples. She has the shape, color, and presence that will get her noticed anywhere she goes, but there is much more to this mare than what you see in a photograph. She is broke, versatile, and easy to ride, making her a wonderful fit for any level of rider. She can step things up for someone who appreciates a horse with training, yet she is uncomplicated enough for a less experienced rider to get along with and enjoy. In the arena, Autumn Rain carries herself collected and rides with a nice feel. She walks, trots, and lopes smoothly, takes her leads, neck reins, and works willingly off leg pressure. She will move her shoulders and hips, back easily, and has a nice turnaround in either direction. When you ask her to stop, she comes back to you with ease. Everything about riding her feels comfortable and straightforward. She has also been ranched on, giving her experience that goes far beyond arena riding. She has worked around cattle, covered ranch country, and understands what it means to spend a day outside with a job to do. She watches where she is going, handles changing terrain, and stays focused on her rider. Autumn Rain has been ridden around traffic, equipment, people, dogs, and everyday activity. She knows how to behave when there is something going on around her and doesn’t require a perfectly quiet setting to keep herself together. She has also seen her share of obstacles. Flags, tarps, balls, and unusual objects don’t send her looking for an exit. Carry a flag, move a tarp around her, roll a ball past her, or point her through an obstacle and she handles it without making a big ordeal out of things. Out on the trail, she is just as useful. Autumn Rain will ride out alone or with company and can lead, follow, or settle into the middle of the group. She is comfortable leaving home and gives you the freedom to actually go ride rather than wondering how your horse will react to everything you encounter. What makes Autumn Rain special is how many different riders can appreciate her. She has enough training and ability to be fun for an experienced horseman, while her easygoing way of doing things makes her suitable for someone who simply wants a safe, dependable horse to enjoy. From the arena to ranch work, cattle, trails, traffic, and obstacles, she has the experience to be a horse the whole family can appreciate. At 8 years old and 15 hands, she is a great age, a handy size, and absolutely gorgeous. Her golden coat and incredible dapples may be what make you stop scrolling, but once you ride her, you’ll realize her looks are only part of what she has to offer. The dapples will get your attention. The horse underneath them is what you’ll fall in love with.
