Bennie

Meet Bennie! This 10 year old Grulla paint gelding is the complete package! Bennie stands a stout well built 14.2hh and is a stunningly marked paint. His coloring is unique and flashy. Bennie is a gentle and sweet boy. He’s has an in your pocket personality and absolutely enjoys all love and attention. Bennie is easy to handle. He has great ground manners. He stands tied single or in cross ties, patiently for grooming/tacking, and is a gentleman for the vet and farrier. Bennie rides both English and western in any bit or even with just a halter and lead rope. He’s SUPER COMFORTABLE!!!!!!! Bennie is more whoa than go and his breaks are hard to beat. Bennie is also a wonderful trail horse! This boy has spent a lot of time out in the woods. Take him out alone or in a group and he doesn’t mind being out in the lead, in the middle of the group or bringing up the rear. Bennie doesn’t mind if horses ride up behind him or tightly beside. He is not the spooky type. Any trees, rocks, logs, tall grass, hills, wildlife etc. doesn’t phase Bennie. Bennie has been ridden and driven down busy roads. He is traffic safe! The big semis, lines of cars, load sirens, and horns honking does not bother Bennie one bit. He was born and raised on a ranch out west and has been in the mountains, worked the cows and seen big game! This boy is safe for anybody of any and all levels of riders to hop on. Bennie has had plenty of beginners on him including children and adults. He can take a joke and keeps his rider safe at all times. If he feels his rider losing their balance Bennie halts or goes back to walk. We have started him over fences and he’s taking to it beautifully! We are currently using Bennie in our beginner lessons, jump lessons, and beginner barrel lessons, and summer camp program. He’s an all around horse! We have yet to find something that Bennie can’t or won’t do! He’s game for anything we throw at him! Bennie would make a great addition to any family or lesson program!
