Big Mac

Big Mac is nothing short of his name! This absolutely stunning 13 year old, crossbred gelding stands a massively built 16.1 hands tall with all the substance and bone you can ask for in a draft cross. Big Mac is one of the smoothest loping horses I’ve ever sat on and also extremely soft in his face with a handy stop, back up and rollback! He takes both leads in the arena and will jog or stretch into an extended trot. He travels naturally with a beautiful head and neck and always stays nicely in frame with light pressure. Big Mac was used through the mid west for some dude ranch type trail rides and for working the ranch- he’s got a motor for all day work and the ethic to back it up. Big Mac will ride alone or with others and will ride out in the lead or follow behind. He is not bothered by horses riding up behind or along side of him and is also safe to be ridden around dogs and other farms animals. Big Mac is good out on the trail through water, mud and over various terrain and over deadfall- trail blazing and along side traffic. He’s crossed over wooden bridges and through a covered bridge without fuss- he has been ridden around cows and will push and track them around the pasture and through gates. Big Mac is great to trailer load into any style trailer and hauls quietly. Big Mac ties single or on cross ties and is excellent to handle feet and good in the wash rack for baths. Big Mac is good for the vet and the farrier and stands all day to be groomed and pampered. Big Mac has no known health issues and doesn’t have vices such as cribbing/weaving- he is clean in the stall and gets along in a mixed herd. Big Mac is barefoot and sound.
