This is “Virginia Ridge Bill”, a very well trained registered Friesian Sport Horse gelding. He is as sweet as he is big and is a true gentle giant. He is versatile, broke to ride and drive, and rides English or Western. He is 16.3 hands tall and he is 8 years old. He has been ridden by children as young as 5 on trail rides. He is obedient, he aims to please, he is intelligent, and he has been there and done that. He will cross all trail obstacles quietly and sure-footed. He is an awesome driving horse that is safe for beginner teamsters. He is traffic safe, not spooky, and solid on the trails. This big gelding is truly exceptional with his size, demeanor, personality, and training. He will one step lope, he moves off of leg cues, he will open and close gates, and he lopes nice circles. He catches his leads and stops hard on whoa. He will also back up. He rides out alone bravely and will go where he is pointed without hesitation. He can be ridden double, bareback, and in just a halter and lead rope. He loads, bathes, hauls, and stands tied for any amount of time. This gelding is safe and solid.
