Boonsmals Nose

Boonsmals Nose aka Boone is a stout built 15hh, 7 year old, Golden Palomino Gelding with one of the best pedigrees that you could write up on one! He is by an own son of the great Hollywood Dun It on the top and out of a Peptoboonsmal bred mare! Boone knows all the reining maneuvers, from slide stop to spinning he can sure do it the right way! We have used him around cows and done some sorting on him and he is great at that whether you are working the gate or cutting them out of the herd, he is easy to ride. We have pasture roped a few on him as well. For over the last year Boone has belonged to an older gentleman and he has been his personal horse and favorite pick whether they were riding around a ranch or just moseying along down the trail, Boone can handle the job. He is a horse that you can leave out in the pasture for a while, catch him and get on and go have an enjoyable ride. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Boone is safe riding in traffic. Boone lopes very pretty, tight circles, will do flying lead changes and he has a smooth jog, easy lope, will slide stop, spins several circles both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
