Buck

Man oh man talk about B E A UTIFUL!!!! Buck is a gorgeous golden Buckskin that is covered in dapples, 11 years old and standing 15hh. Buck has spent his whole life as a using type horse out west on a cattle ranch. He has penned cattle, been pasture roped off and just about anything else you can think of. He has also been a great trail horse throughout the years. They hauled him all over the Midwest trail riding and camping. Buck is a friendly horse but definitely not a horse that is right on your heels either. He loves his job and loves doing it. Buck is great for the farrier! Loves to be groomed and loved on. He is very easy to saddle and bridle and stands dead still to mount and dismount. Buck is very naturally gaited and very smooth. He has a ground covering flat walk a smooth foxtrot and can even rack. Buck also has a great canter as well that’s like sitting in a rocking chair. Buck will walk all day if you ask him to but loves to move out. Buck has a great mouth and will ride on loose rein or can be collected. Buck will also neck rein around the best. He is very confident and will ride out with or without company. Rides anywhere in a group but does like to lead.
Buck is an outstanding trail horse or should I say Billy Goat because this guy will take you anywhere. He will climb up or down anything, cross any type of water and step over fallen trees and slippery rocks. Buck is attentive but is not a spooky horse just really watches where he is going. He is also very sure footed. Buck would make a great endurance type horse because you can seriously ride him all day everyday and he still seems to have a little more gas in the tank. Buck is great in traffic and around farm equipment. You can open gates off of him as well. If you are looking for that dead to the world poke around horse Buck probably won’t suit you but if you want a calm well trained horse that you can take out and use you can’t go wrong with Buck!!
