What’s better than butter?? Not much! This 13 year old 14.2hh stout made buttermilk buckskin gelding has it all. He shines like a diamond when the sun hits him! He’s a stunning buttermilk buckskin gelding with a nice mane and tail. Butter is the type of horse that anyone can hop on and enjoy! He rides English, western, and bareback with any bit or with just a halter and lead rope. You can ride him in the arena, out on the trails, or in the wide open field. He walks, trots, and canters with easy. His canter is absolutely delightful to sit on. Butter is eager to please and is a quick learner. He has yet to say no to anything we ask of him. Butter is not the spooky type. He remains cool, calm, and collected in any new situation and place we take him. He has countless of trail miles under his belt. There’s nothing he loves more than to explore the wilderness with his rider. You can take him out alone or in a group. He’s seen it all from logs, mud, tall grass, rocks, puddles, turkeys, deer, and anything else you could think of encountering out in the woods. He walks down the trail path on a loose rein and will go wherever you point him. On the ground he’s easy to catch and lead. His manners are A+ Butter stands well in cross ties or tied to a post while grooming and tacking. For a few years Butter lived in a families backyard. During that time he gave pony rides to kids as young as 3 years old around a trampoline, swing-set, sandbox, and many other toys. Butter is also traffic safe as he has been ridden down a busy road to the apple orchard. Nothing phases this guy! He’s a great all around gelding that will do anything you ask of him!
