Champ is 6 years old and 15.1hh just the right age, just the right size – and has the loud flashy markings that everyone’s looking for! He is extremely smooth gaited and uncomplicated to ride, but still fun! He has a nice handle, a big stop, and travels really cute too! He would be fun to take to the local hunter/jumper shows, or the entry level dressage tests. He trail rides great, he absolutely loves going into town and being around lots of traffic and commotions and things to see! He has been tons of miles checking fences and checking cattle, and he is very comfortable out alone as well as in a group of horses. He’s even been used in the cutting pen, as a turn back horse at a cutting facility, and he was the resident “non-rider” mount. Anyone can get along with this sweet guy he has a ton of personality and he’s always the first one up to you in the pen. He loves attention and if he’s out in the pasture with a group of horses he’ll come up to you versus hanging out with the horses he loves scratches loves cookies and loves attention. He is great in the barn, stands tied quietly, he is easy to saddle and bridle, stands flat-footed and still for mount and dismount, he hops right on the trailer, and hauls quietly too. Champ was just shod this week, his teeth were also done by an equine dentist earlier this year, at that time he also had his ears preemptively treated for ticks, and he was also power pack wormed.
