Channing

Channing is a 5 year old, 16 hand Dutch Harness Horse cross gelding. This fellow is handsome and he knows it! Channing is a versatile horse, but will shine in the dressage ring or even over fences. Channing rides soft in the bridle and accepts the contact well. He is solid at training level dressage and schooling 1st level movements. He walks, trots, and canters nicely both directions with good balance. He has a nice hind leg and pushes well from behind. He is a big mover with lots of impulsion. Schooling lateral movements and has lots of potential to move up the levels. Needing some time outside of the arena? Channing has been on lots of trail rides. He crosses water well, goes up and down banks, and crosses dead fall. We have ridden him through our cows and he does that confidently. Channing’s friendly personality makes him a barn favorite! He has nice stall manners and is always the first at the gate to be caught! He does well being turned out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings.
