Chip

We are excited to introduce you to Belle Ryan Jessie James or Chip as we call him for short! Chip is a registered Percheron gelding who stands at a solid 17hh and is 13 years old. Chip is a picture perfect example of his breed. He is a stunning grey with black points. He’s proud and alert with excellent conformation. Chip was bred at the legendary Windermere Farms and he is a grandson of the famous Windermeres King Kong, who has won too many championships to list. Chip was a part of a 6 horse hitch for years and has won many events. He has also been used to give commercial carriage rides in the city both single and double. He is a brave and willing worker who will without doubt turn heads anywhere you take him. Chip is extremely intelligent and has a great disposition. He is also very well broke to ride. Since he is on the lighter side, he is very agile and sure footed. Chip will walk, trot, and canter with ease. He comes equipped with effortless transitions, cantering on both leads from the halt, and his breaks are great. Chip loves to hack out in the fields. Chip has had some basic dressage training and has schooled several cross country courses! He jumps in great form, and enjoys it! He’s seen the mountains of KY, the deep woods of MI, and the rolling hills of WI. Not to mention he’s been downtown in a variety of parades. Chip will do anything from city tours, farm work, and hauling Santa around. He has done it all. This is a horse with an unparalleled resume with years of experience. He will excel in fox hunting, working for a carriage company, farm work, or just that all around family horse everyone can enjoy!
