Cupid Shuffle

This 12 year old gypsy cross gelding literally checks all the boxes! I’ve never ridden a horse that could wear so many hats and wear them well at that. Cupid Shuffle has been the coolest guy to come in our program and we are absolutely in LOVE with this horse, he stands 14 hands with a heavy yet athletic build, gorgeous grey and white paint color and just the right amount of feathers and hair to be flashy without being too high maintenance! Cupid as we affectionately call him wins your heart over in seconds with his cuddly personality and big kind doe eyes. He has clean legs, great hooves (barefoot up front) and is sound with no physical limitations. He is very easy and respectful to handle on the ground, great in his stall, easy to catch turned out, ties, bathes, perfect for farrier and vet and loads and hauls like a dream! Under saddle Cupid enjoys both being ridden English and western and really excels in dressage too! He has the softest face and works so nicely laterally and stays soft through the poll. Cupid leg yields both ways, side passes, turns on haunches and forehand, has easy transitions, awesome stop and back up, will take any jump you point him at and is so incredibly fun on course. He is very quiet to ride in and out of the arena and rides out confidentially alone! He has a nice western handle and will slide stop, side a pole, turn on haunches in a box and lope beautiful circles in the bridle. Out on trail you can literally put Cupid anywhere out in the lead, in the middle of the pack or bring up the rear, he has zero bite or kick in him towards other horses and is so fun through the woods and fields! Cupid has been exposed to vehicles and equipment of various types and has never offered to spook. He navigates easily through rough terrain, through water over rocks and down trees as well as riding along side busy roads and being around dogs, bikes, hikers etc! He’s been around cows and other farms animals without any issues. Cupid is the same horse no matter where you take him I’ve had him out and about ALL over from obstacle parks to horse shows and more and he never needs to be lunged or worked down just saddle up and ride. He loves extreme obstacles and is not afraid of anything and always happy to try his heart out for you, he’s been over moving obstacles like tension bridges, teeter totter, rolly bridge, through a cowboy curtain, in ponds and so much more!!!
