Dappled Ponyboy

Meet “Ponyboy”! He is truly a one-of-a-kind gelding that catches everyone’s eye with a stunning dappled coat and a gorgeous mane and tail. Not only is he flashy, but Ponyboy has impeccable manners and is as gentle and quiet as they come. He is six years old, registred in the international Quarter Pony association, and stands 13.2 hands tall, making him the ideal age and size for any kid or small adult. This gelding is completely blemish free, clean-legged, and 100% sound. He has a great disposition and is well trained. He has easy transitions, a correct turn around, and a nice stop. He is one hand broke, picks up both leads, and extremely smooth to ride whether it is in an arena, downtown in the city, working on the ranch, or out on the trails. Take this gelding in a group or out by himself and he goes wherever you point him. Ponyboy is completely unaware of his small stature and rides confidently through water, over logs and rough terrain, opens gates, pulls the roping dummy, ponies other horses, and even helps fly a kite! He is patterned in all the playday events, has started roping the dummy, and is ready to be someone’s main mount. Take off his saddle and bridle and he will ride around just as quiet. He has a friendly personality and is easy to catch anywhere. He is good for the farrier, picks up all four feet willingly, and ground ties while grooming and saddling. Ponyboy is a hard-to-find pony and is ready for his forever home whether he is being a punchy ranch mount, a safe trail rider, or winning the playdays.
