DELILAH

Delilah is a 15-year-old buckskin mare standing 14.2 hands tall. She is as sweet and friendly as they come and is the kind of mare that fits right into the family. Delilah has a kind, easygoing personality and is enjoyable both on the ground and in the saddle. She is especially nice to handle and is safe and gentle for the little ones to be around. Out on the trail, Delilah is uncomplicated, confident, and about as sure-footed as you can get. She travels out nicely and is an excellent trail and obstacle-course horse. She will cross just about anything you point her at and takes new or unfamiliar things in stride. She is steady, willing, and does not look for things to spook at, making her a horse you can relax and enjoy the ride on. In the arena, Delilah walks, trots, and lopes nice circles, has a good stop, and backs up easily. She keeps things simple and straightforward and doesn’t require you to constantly manage or babysit her. Whether you’re riding around the arena, heading down the trail, or working through an obstacle course, she is the same dependable, willing mare. Delilah is also great on the ground, loads and hauls well, and has no marish tendencies. She is sweet, personable, and genuinely enjoys attention.
