Denali

We all know true all around horses are one in a million. That being said, Denali is your One!
Denali is a flashy 9yo Dunskin Friesian Quarter Horse gelding. He measures a stocky and well-built 15.2hh. You will be hard pressed to find another horse built and colored like Denali.
Since we’ve owned Denali, we have put him to the test schooling him in both English and Western disciplines. Denali is a steady, leisurely ride who will go around in your hand collected or in a loose rein at the buckle. He exhibits three balanced and quality gaits with excellent transitions. Denali is well schooled on the flat; demonstrating side passes, pivots, spins, and flying changes. He also neck reins and moves off your seat and leg effortlessly. Additionally, he also shows promise over fences. He is currently schooling around 2’6 courses at home with scope for more. He is brave and steady to the jumps without rushing them. Outside of the arena, Denali is no stranger to a days work. He has spent days gathering cattle, has sorted cattle in the pens, and has had a few doctored on him as well. If trail riding is more your speed, he’s got you covered there too. We’ve trail rode him extensively through the Hoosier National Forest and other local trails near the barn. He crosses water, ditches, logs, bridges, and the steepest of hills with ease. He’s very sure footed and will get you in and out of the hairiest spots on the trail. We have hauled him and rode him in all sorts of environments and conditions and he’s taken it all in stride every time. There’s absolutely no prep needed with this guy.
Denali is a pleasure to have around the barn and has a very ‘in your pocket’ personality. He loves to be groomed, pet, and spoiled with treats. He takes in the hectic environment of our barn very well. He’s no stranger to dogs and cats running under foot, loud machinery, and the neighbors pigs! Denali can be turned out in a group but also stalls very well if needed. He’s a super amateur friendly ride as he can sit for awhile and be brought back into work without issue. Trailering is not a problem for Denali either as he will practically load himself. He stands nice and quietly and won’t bang around your trailer. He also gets along with anything else you throw on the trailer with him. To make him even cooler, Denali will lay down and sit on command!
