Diesel

Diesel is a beautiful 6 yr old 15.1 hand, buckskin quarter horse gelding. He has a wonderful disposition, very versatile, good minded, and picks up on new things fast. I really don’t think there is anything he can’t do, and acts better then most horses twice his age. He rides English, western, trail rides, and drives! We have recently started him over jumps and he is taking to them very well. Already doing lead changes, and he shows great potential to really excel in almost every event in the English discipline. He has already been doing schooling shows and the lower level classes. He is just going to get better and better with time. He shows great promise to use for cross country with youth and novice riders. He has a solid foundation riding western as well: neck reins, good stops, backs, and responds to leg pressure. He has been exposed to cattle and does have the ability to be a nice ranch horse. Has been trail ridden extensively for several years, not spooky or reactive on the trails. Rides great in large groups as well as out alone. Will go through water, thick brush, and handles steep and rough terrain with ease. You don’t have to worry about any buddy or barn sour issues with this guy. He was broke to drive by the Amish when he was 2 and has been consistently driven the past 4 years. Traffic and road safe, and very easy to drive. He will go the speed you ask, and is perfectly content to mosey along at a walk, or move him up into a very smooth road gait (trot). He would be a perfect horse for new or nervous drivers. Drive him with family and friends for a Sunday picnic or go to town for ice cream! Stands very quietly for harnessing and hitching, and can be hooked up by one person.
Diesel is a great horse to have in the barn, and he will quickly become a favorite. He has no vices, bad habits or silly quirks. easy to handle and is quiet on the ground, stands tied patiently, great for tacking, and all grooming. Your farrier will love him! Sweet demeanor and genuinely likes people especially youth riders. Gets along great in the pasture with both mares and geldings.
