Here is everyone’s dream horse!
Django is a 2015, warmblood paint cross gelding standing 16hh. He is the epitome of tall and handsome with his good build, flashy coloring, and glass eye. You won’t find a more stunning and unique gelding than him.
Not only does Django have the look, he is also a dream under saddle. He rides both English and Western very well. He has a gorgeous floaty trot and a canter to die for. He has been multiple students “first canter” since it is so rhythmic and easy to sit. He has easy, clean transitions as well. Django will neck rein, pivot, and side pass. He tends to be more woah than go but will pick up pace with a more experienced rider.
One of Django’s best attributes is that he is one rock solid trail horse. We took him to the big June trail ride in Eminence, Missouri this summer and had an absolute blast on him. He crossed everything in his path like a pro. From neck deep fast moving water to steep rocky trails, to patches of super deep mud, Django couldn’t have cared less and powered through it all with a level head. A safe, confident trail horse is even better when they make you the best looking pair on the trail!
Anyone would be lucky to add Django to their barn. He has the sweetest most gentle disposition. We call him the gentle giant and he has certainly lived up to his nickname with us. He is easy to tack up and could stand all day to be groomed and spoiled with treats. He has excellent ground manners and has proved himself to be respectful no matter who is leading him around. He is good to bathe and clip and stands well for the farrier. Django has zero issues trailering whether he is alone or with others.
We have thoroughly enjoyed each day we were able to spend with Django and can’t wait to see him thrive with his new family!
