Hickory is a nice 15hh, 2012 model registered AQHA dun gelding, that turns a beautiful dun roan in the summer time. You can pick his feet up with no problems, and stands good for the farrier. He stands quietly to brush, tack up, and you can step on him and ride him out of the barn with no issue,no matter if you ride him everyday, once a week, or once a month. Hickory is well broke to ride,and I would say he is safe for any level of rider, yet he is not a deadhead and can get around and be really fun to ride if you ask him. He rides good outside on the trails through brush and creeks etc. Has been ridden alongside the highway and is great with traffic. I have moved cows on him,he does well with that and would make a cool team sorting horse. Hickory has tracked and roped the sled and seemed to enjoy it.
