Check out this big, beautiful, unique Palomino Overo, registered APHA gelding we call Duke. This horse stands 16-16.1hh hands tall, is a 2013 model and is extremely stout. Duke has excellent confirmation that is well balanced with heavy bone and muscling throughout. One of Duke’s best qualities is his disposition. He has the most gentle demeanor, meets you at the gate, loves attention, and wants to be with you. Duke is a seasoned trail horse that has been rode in all types of terrain including the mountains. He will go where he’s asked, crosses water, logs, and will go up or down the steepest hills. He has confident footing as well as no spook. Duke is also a great addition to any ranch. I’ve used him out checking cattle and mares as well as fence lines. He rides out great by himself or with a group and stands great if you need to get off and on to fix something. He will not be the fastest horse out there but he is always steady. He stands quiet for clipping, bathing, farrier, and for vet work. He hauls great and gets along with other horses the best. Duke is safe riding partner for the whole family. He has a nice walk, trot, lope as well as a one hand neck rein. This gelding is suitable for nearly all levels of riders to appreciate and enjoy.
