Dusty is a coming 4 year old Friesian Sport Horse (Friesian X Quarter Horse) gelding standing 15.1 hands tall. Dusty has a substantial amount of bone and size with big strong hooves and great conformation. Dusty is undoubtedly a looker from all angles and stunning deep bay color. Dusty is a half brother to the incredible Charlie Brown that we had listed on platinum two weeks ago, so if you missed your chance with him you won’t want to miss out again! Dusty like his brother has the coolest mind and super gentle/quiet personality!!!! Dusty has been used for a variety of lesson students from littles to adults and everyone has loved him. This is the type of horse that literally puts a smile on your face as soon as you put a leg over him, he is a blast to ride so smooth and just so loaded with talent. Dusty has nice transitions, fantastic lead departures from a stand still and a nice stop and back. Dusty has incredible movement and suspension and is just the epitome of an athlete, his talent is truly endless. This beautiful gelding would absolutely make the most stellar jumper, eventer, dressage or fox hunting type horse. He has so much potential and the most trainable mind. Dusty loves to work and loves to make his person happy, he strives for perfection every-time you pull him out of the stall! Dusty is brave on the trail and will take on any man made or natural obstacle you point him over. He has lightly been started jumping and shows great promise in a career in that direction. As well as being ridden English he does great under western tack too and is also trained to drive and is an absolute rockstar in the cart. This is definitely one of the most quiet 3 year olds I’ve ever met. Dusty is also trained to lay down from the saddle if pull back on his rein and tap his left shoulder with your heel! Dusty will sit up like a dog after laying down and let you pet all over him. He is great on cross ties or single tied, great in the wash rack, clips, good for grooming and saddling, a gentleman for the vet and farrier- and wonderful ground manners. He will load into any style trailer, hauls quiet and unloads at new places like he’s been there his whole life- he requires no lunging or riding down. He will ride out alone or in a group absolutely no bite or kick to any horses riding around him etc. Dusty rides lightly in contact or with a slack rein, has a green flying lead change, stops and backs up as well as softens his face and moves softly off leg aids.
