ELMER W. is a registered Friesian Sport Horse that is VERY well broke to ride and drive. He is one of the most versatile Friesian geldings on the market. He has been shown in English and Western classes at the open shows and he has had dressage training. He has been ridden on the ranch to check cattle and sort pairs. He has an excellent handle and will one hand neck rein. He has has a big stop, he moves off of leg cues, and you can open and close gates off of him. He will sit down and turn around and one step lope. He stands 16 hands tall but his height won’t be an issue for mounting as he is trained to lay down to get on. He is very easy to get to lay down on command. He will also stretch out and play dead if you asked him to. He is quiet natured and gentle for any level rider. He can be ridden by beginners and hooked and driven by beginner teamsters. He likes attention and he is intelligent with an awesome personality. He will follow you around like a puppy dog. He has been on miles of trails and will go through any depth of water. He can handle steep terrain, he is sure footed, and he will ride double or bareback. He will pony colts and other horses all day long. He will blaze the trail and lead the pack or he will bring up the rear relaxed. This gelding is traffic safe on the roads and not spooky. He truly can do it all and he does it all with a pleasant attitude. He is 10 years old. He is sired by the great BENJAMIN W.
