FQHR Moonshine

Moonshine is a beautiful AQHA bay roan gelding standing a solid 15.2 hands tall and weighs approximately 1300#!. He is loaded with muscle and is built to last, and was foaled on the Froelich ranch in ND. The biggest thing we love about him is his safe and trustworthy demeanor. Should it be my young children storming into the barn, a puppy pulling his tail, or colts bucking in the pasture while I’m riding him on a windy day; he has proven to be one you can count on to hold it together. He has been a trail horse most of his life, but has other fun buttons and training in addition.Moonshine has a big ground covering walk that is perfect for leading a trail ride, but he is able to slow it down to ride in the back as well. He is responsive to his rider, not dull or lazy in his mentality. That being said he is simple to ride and won’t get offended if you “push the wrong button.” No buck, rear, or dangerous stuff with him. He is respectful to handle with great ground manners. We have had many different people ride him. He is completely sound and up to date on everything health related. Currently wearing shoes all around, but can go barefoot easily with his nice black hooves. He neckreins and really works off your leg and seat, you can throw a rope off him and drag logs, doesn’t mind whip cracking, tarps, bridges, water crossings, ground ties and hobble trained, you can open gates off him. He is also trained to lay down as a trick! Loads and trailers no problem, clips, stands for farrier. He currently wears shoes, but has black hooves and could go barefoot no problem.
