FS Wars Wilywood aka “Ritz” is a registered AQHA 2019 Bay gelding, standing at 15.1H. Ritz acquired his name from… you guessed it! The household favorite Ritz cracker! This guy is so simple and easy he is EVERYONES favorite. Ritz will reel you in with his goofy gelding personality and blow you away with how calm, cool and collected he stays in every situation both on the ground and under saddle. Ritz walk, trot, lopes on a loose rein. He will guide around nicely with one hand or two in any gait. Ritz listens well to leg pressure and is soft in your hands.This gelding will make an excellent mount for any type of rider, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced rider you’ll have tons of fun on him! He would make the perfect trail mount or can go on to be a performance prospect with tons of other options for him in between. Ritz has been a pleasure for me to ride and is always my first go to horse if I’ve had a rough day or I just feel like I need a break and need an easy ride to take the stress of a long day away. He is a very consistent horse and does well with time off or is happy to work for a couple hours everyday. For only being 5 years old this gelding acts like a seasoned veteran. Take him out on a trail by yourself or with other horses and he won’t complain even the slightest! He has zero vices that I’ve come across. This gelding has an excellent puppy dog personality and will happily follow you around all day if you wanted him to! Ritz also leads, loads, and ties like a gentleman without any silly business. He’ll stand nicely to be groomed, saddled, and bathed. Ritz has been recently shod and was excellent for the farrier, and has also been seen recently by our vet, chiropractor, and dentist so he’s in tip top shape to go to work! He gets along well with other horses both in the pasture and the arena. He’s an excellent, GENTLE young horse with his whole life and career ahead of him.
