Ghost

Ghost is a 2019 ApHC gelding, and he does it all! This gelding stands 15.1 at the withers and has all of the brains and athleticism that this breed is famous for! He has an in your pocket type personality and you can not go out to the pasture without him coming to investigate and be petted! He is friendly with everyone and anyone and is incredibly brave in any situation! I have had him to town many times and he has competed in team roping an ranch rodeos this last fall. He is an absolute gentleman around kids and loves to be around their games and definitely doesn’t mind packing them around! We have trail ridden him extensively this past year and his smooth walk trot and canter will keep you comfortably all day long! Water and log crossings will be no trouble at all and he is sure footed going up and down steep slopes! His handle is very good! You can one hand neck rein this cool guy anywhere and he is responsive and quiet in the bridle and off your legs! His leads are deadly and smooth, he rarely misses a lead and lopes around on a loose rein! Ghost also has a good turnaround and steps around himself quickly and smoothly! Team roping is one of this guys favorite games right now! We started heading on Ghost last summer and he has caught on quickly. I will not call him finished but he is smooth and fast to the cow, he scores well, and he is strong to the horn! We score a lot but this horse has also done well running numbers in the practice pen. Think nothing of roping fifteen to twenty on him in a set. This horse is tough and quiet and will only continue to progress in the very near future!
