Goose

Goose is a 15.1h, 9 yr old your next “do it all unicorn” and is one of the friendliest horses you could ever be around. This guy will fit the WHOLE FAMILY NO MATTER WHAT YOU’RE WANTING TO DO. He is finished on the head side and has had 3s to 8s rope on him with success, including youth ropers. Although he is not what we consider finished on the heel side, it would not take much time to have yourself a finished, solid switch ender. He is quiet in the box, leaves on your hand, and is great to use when breaking in fresh cattle. Goose was also previously patterned on the barrels and still remembers the pattern well. He is push style, so for the little ones that are just wanting to have fun he is fabulous because he will only go the speed they ask. This gelding would make a great all around rodeo horse for someone to do it all on in the arena. Outside, you couldn’t ask for a more dependable mount. He will walk down the trail alone or in a group with a level head no matter what you may come across. He has had an armadillo scurry across the path right under his nose and never even tossed his head. Water, rough terrain, deer, noisy dogs, atvs… you name it, Goose has seen it or concurred it with the same attitude as he does everything. No matter the age or experience of the rider, he will fit them. He’s packed around toddlers safely, little girls just learning to ride, middle school aged boys getting into roping, all the way up to experienced adults and he has been a fabulous mount for all. Goose will also carry a flag, will pop around a small jump course, can be shot off of, and rides both english and western. He picks up both leads, rides in most anything bit wise or just in a hack/halter, side passes, and will neck rein or ride two handed based on the riders preference. On the ground, he has perfect manners and is safe enough for even the smallest rider to handle on their own. He will ground tie or hard tie and will stand for everything from grooming to fly spray to baths to tacking/untacking. Goose stands quietly for the farrier and loads/unloads like a gentleman as well. He has always been 100% in every way every day of the week whether he’s rode consistently or sits for a bit.
