Grainger

If you are looking for a horse who wants to be your best friend, I would like to introduce you to Grainger. He is a beautifully marked, 5 year old, registered, Friesian Sport Horse gelding. He is sired by Meint Fan Fallingasaet who goes back to Folkart 353. Grainger stands at 16.1hh and is put together perfectly. He has a long thick mane and tail and feathering on his legs (he is currently clipped). He’s jet black, with 4 white legs, and a bit of white on his neck and shoulder. If Grainger was a human, he would be the life of the party and the guy everyone wants to know. If you walk out to the field and say his name, he comes running every time. If you pass his stall, he tilts his head sideways and pokes his little nose out to say hi. He just oozes personality. He’s a total people pleaser. Grainger is very well broke walk, trot, and canter. He knows his leads and has effortless transitions both up and down. He rides in a simple snaffle and will move off of seat and leg pressure. Grainger has a very well balanced canter and holds his rhythm with little guidance from his rider. He will even swap his leads when asked. Grainger is schooling basic dressage moves and shows great potential. He also jumps around inside and out in fantastic form. He will not shy away from the jumps and is very easy to find a distance on. He has been out on the back roads and ridden around some of Michigan’s beautiful hunt country. Brush, hills, water, dogs, traffic, wildlife, all no issue. Grainger is also broke to drive and looks stunning pulling a carriage.
