Hear about Halsey… Halsey describes all the characteristics of An American Bashkir Curly horse very well! On top of her sweet and laid back demeanor she is safe for anyone and loves other horses/livestock and people alike. Halsey stands at 15 hands is built like an absolute tank, she has been barefoot her whole life with very hardy feet, she is one of the only horses that we will take into the mountains on rough terrain and steep trails without shoes. Halsey can go English or western, has been ridden over cross rails and even taken on light cross country courses, though it is new for her she shows a passion and a true future in it! Halsey has dabbled in western pleasure, has a nice slow job and lope and stops off of your seat. She backs up with light pressure and has a pretty rollback. Halsey is easy and simple to ride, she does not have any fancy buttons which makes her great for kids and beginner riders who need a horse to guide and take care of them. Halsey loves trails and has been right through downtown! She has been all over Fort Collins and is a horse you can just drop your reins with and enjoy the ride.
